iMarketsLive (IML for short) are a relatively new – over 4 years old now – American company led by Christopher Terry, who is himself a long-standing trader.
They’re essentially a trading education platform with some additional trading tools.
I’ve described their suite of tools and products below and I’ll update this as new products are introduced.
The Swipe Trades are copy-and-paste trades, where the pro trader sends a trade via the smartphone app and by email. This is another iMarkets Live service that’s improving all the time. When I joined there was only one pro trader and, being American, quite a few of the trades came during the night for me in the UK. There are now 4 or 5 traders so the number of trades per day has increased somewhat and their success rate is very high. One of the guys in my group used Swipe Trades – and only Swipe Trades – to take his trading account from $1000 to £200,000 in just 11 months. The beauty of Swipe Trades is that they’re so quick and easy. You can literally copy and paste the trade from the app to your trading platform on your phone in under a minute. This means you can be earning from Day 1 while you’re learning to trade for yourself. Usual disclaimer applies, of course: past profits are no guarantee of future profits.
Daily Swing Trades
Christopher Terry, CEO of iML, sends out a swing trade a few times a week (not always daily, as the name implies. These are longer-term swing trades that can be running from a few days to a couple of weeks. Rather than just a signal, these are videos of Chris walking through the analysis and trades. I’ve never done any of these as swing trading is not my thing, so I can’t really comment on them.
This is a piece of software that analyses the markets, looking for patterns. There is a web browser version and also a version that you can install into your MT4 session. The IML Harmonic Scanner automatically draws and labels different harmonic patterns in the Forex market right on your MT4 platform. To get the best results you need to do a bit of analysis rather than blindly taking the trades.
This is a very new tool that takes the harmonic scanner a step further. It alerts you to trades on the M5, M15, and H1 time frames and seems to be particularly good for scalping. People are still working out strategies for this, but it’s looking extremely promising.
The academy hosts a library of training videos, from the basics of ‘What is Forex?’ and ‘What is a pip?’, to advanced topics on Fibonacci, market geometry, and Elliot Waves etc. Not to mention the super-important topic of mindset.
On IML TV you can watch various educators in real time talking about their strategies, showing you trade set ups, and how to do your analysis. Recordings are also available if you’re not able to watch the live session.
So, are iMarketsLive perfect? Heck, no. But they are very good and getting better all the time. What I particularly like is how responsive they are; if problems are found or improvements suggested they are very quick to implement solutions. I’ve traded before and could never find any consistency, but I’ve never made so many pips as I have since joining IML. Admittedly, I’ve lost a lot of pips, too, through my own mistakes. But I’ve learned from those mistakes and I know without any shadow of doubt that I can be a successful trader with iMarketsLive behind me. Not today, not tomorrow, and maybe not even in 6 months. But I know I’m learning skills that are going to make me financially free.
If you’d like to learn more about how iMarketsLive could help you learn a new skill or copy and paste your way out of the rate race, then message me via the Contact page or check out the Join Here page for some videos.
Trading can contain substantial risk and is not suited for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than their initial investment. “Risk capital” – is money that can be lost without jeopardizing one’s financial security or lifestyle. Only “risk capital” should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. iMarkets Live is not a licensed financial advisor nor does it or give out financial advice.
